Summary: Clayton is a company dedicated to transforming lives through home ownership, and they are seeking a Home Consultant to enhance the home buying experience for customers. The role involves guiding customers in selecting floor plans, options, and coordinating the construction process while maintaining a high level of integrity and customer follow-up. Responsibilities: - Create a world class home buying experience by assisting customers to identify a floor plan, select options, and coordinate the construction process - Protect the Clayton Homes branding and assets by maintaining a high level of integrity throughout the sales process - Develop expertise in areas such as finance mortgage concepts, product, sales acumen, sales presentation skills and your local market - Maintain customer files and provide timely follow-up with prospective buyers via the company’s CRM system - Assist manager by helping select inventory, decorate models and maintain appearance of the homes - Develop, refine and execute a strategic sales and marketing plan to increase home center traffic - Present potential buyers display homes, demonstrate features and benefits to create added value - Set home center visits utilizing prospect database and by converting ad calls and web leads to appointments - Participates in all sales meetings, training opportunities and other company sponsored functions - Cooperative and collaborative, willing and eager to work in a team environment, assist with miscellaneous duties as required Required Qualifications: - General understanding of the retail environment - Ability to obtain appropriate manufactured home sales licensing - Strong verbal communication skills - Ability to excel and contribute to a team environment - Strong organizational and time management skills - Ability to work required schedule, including Saturdays - Professional demeanor and appearance - Ability to walk the lot and show homes throughout all seasons Preferred Qualifications: - Bilingual Preferred: English/Spanish - At least 6 months of relationship driven business to consumer sales preferred Required Skills: Relationship-driven Sales, Retail Environment Knowledge, Manufactured Home Sales Licensing, Bilingual English/Spanish Benefits: Full-time team members have the flexibility to create their own health, dental, and vision benefits package., Clayton provides competitive 401K programs including investment options and company matching for full and part time team members after one year to help our team members achieve their financial goals., Additional benefits include paid parental leave, Employee Assistance Programs, paid time off, paid holidays and more., Clayton is now providing paid time for Team Members to volunteer to causes that are meaningful to them through the Clayton Impact program., We encourage holistic wellness with physical, nutritional, social, financial, spiritual and occupational programs., Home Centers are closed on Sundays – we believe in offering a balanced working environment.
