Job Description
Summary: CJ ENM America is a leading company in the entertainment and media sector, currently seeking motivated and creative interns for their Sponsorships & Sales team. Interns will engage in various aspects of event marketing, sponsorship sales, and brand activations, particularly focusing on KCON LA, the largest K-pop Fan and Artist Festival.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential sponsors/partners that align with KCON LA’s brand and audience
- Partake in brainstorms for sponsorship, partnership, and influencer activations for KCON LA and other CJ ENM America initiatives
- Support the team on account management as well as the overall operational processes of sponsors’ convention needs
- Maintain accurate records and databases of potential and confirmed partners
- Help develop marketing materials, pitch decks, and sales collateral
- Assist with community management and marketing efforts across social, web, CRM (email and SMS), and emerging platforms
- Create engaging content for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, and X)
- Translating documents from ENMA to HQ and HQ to ENMA as needed
- Attend meetings and take thorough notes to document sponsorship/partnership deliverables
- Develop weekly internal newsletters and trend reports in pop culture across entertainment, music, fashion, technology, marketing, partnerships, and K-pop/K-culture
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate and execute on-site sponsor activations and branded experiences at KCON LA
- Track and compile recap reports documenting partnership activations and ROI metrics post-event
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the marketing and partnerships team
Required Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fluency in Korean (reading, writing, and speaking) is not a requirement, but a plus
