Job Description
Summary: Cintal, Inc. is a forward-thinking global technology company that develops and provides cutting-edge products and services to various industries. They are seeking an Industrial Engineer to work on Advanced Product Quality Planning and manage quality feedback loops while overseeing tasks related to inventory control and cost management.
Responsibilities:
- Work on Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Cost management related activities from concept to PPAP to deliver parts of the right quality, total cost, and meet timelines
- Manage the quality feedback loops to ensure lessons learned on quality defects are applied across the supply base
- Need to calculate production costs, should cost models, ways to save costs, and how changes to the product design will affect management review, action, and control expenses
- Determine criteria and set goals for the final product's quality and dependability by analyzing statistical data and product specifications
- Review the nonconformance in product quality, shipment delays and supplier past due
- Oversee tasks pertaining to receiving, warehousing, inventory control, material requirements planning, and strategic or tactical purchasing
- Establish performance metrics to evaluate, compare, or assess supply chain elements like product quality or cost
- Need to support New Capital Introduction (NCI) activities
- Work on supporting daily continuous improvement activities
- Work on designing new tooling to resolve assembly processes challenges. Review/Update/Develop Assembly documentations such as standard work, PFMEA, Control Plan, SFMEA etc
- Travel/relocation to various unanticipated client sites within the United States only is required. Exact client site location and frequency of travel cannot be predicted as it may vary/change depending on project availability
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related
- 18 months of experience as an Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or related
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
