Actuarial Senior Manager- Hybrid
Location: New York, NY
Cigna Health And Life Insurance Company seeks an Actuarial Senior Manager for the New York, NY location to analyze data to estimate risk and financial impact for global healthcare insurance company.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and forecasting.
• Support the development of new products, pricing strategies, and profitability.
• Perform scenario testing and analysis of risk and opportunities.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to key stakeholders.
• Monitor experience studies and adjust assumptions based on emerging trends.
• Collaborate with finance, underwriting, and product teams to support business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards.
• Hybrid work schedule.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or related field (with minimum GPA of 3.2) and 5 years of experience in any progressively responsible actuarial role in the healthcare domain.
• Must have experience with: working with big data and querying data using SQL code;
• Analyzing data using R; and,
• advanced Excel experience.
• Must be a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.

Salary Range: $191,942-$214,400
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 142,500 - 237,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
