Job Description
Summary: Chewy is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Generalist Intern to join our fulfillment center teams. This internship offers hands-on experience in core HR processes, employee relations, and talent development practices in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with coordinating new hire onboarding activities, including documentation, preparation of materials, and orientation sessions
- Support new hire orientation programs by delivering presentations on company policies, benefits, and procedures
- Manage and update employee records in the HRIS system and assist with payroll-related activities
- Support the planning and execution of employee recognition programs, events, and engagement initiatives
- Shadow HR leadership in employee relations tasks, such as performance management discussions and investigations
- Help analyze HR data to spot trends in engagement, retention, and performance
- Partner with leadership to brainstorm and implement creative ways to enhance employee experiences
Required Qualifications:
- Enrolled full-time in a Bachelor's degree program, in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with an anticipated graduation date of Spring 2027
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with an eye for detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- A desire to grow and learn in a fast-paced environment, with a strong interest in HR as a career
- Current permanent U.S. work authorization required
- Ability to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, from June 8, 2026 - August 14, 2026
