Bakery Clerk - # 48 Wilmington

Summary: Chedraui USA operates El Super, a supermarket that has served its communities for over 25 years by providing a diverse selection of grocery products. The Bakery Clerk will provide customer service, assist with bakery purchases, and maintain cleanliness in the bakery department under the supervision of the Bakery Manager. Responsibilities: - Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service to the Bakery department - Assist customers with bakery purchases - Clean shelving and display cases - Clean, fill, and rotate the self-serve displays that are both in the front of the store and adjacent to the store bakery - Work with customers to take special orders - Work with the Baker to determine which items may need to be baked or decorated - Help in the department cleaning by hosing down the floors with soap and water to ensure department cleanliness Required Qualifications: - Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos - Write simple correspondence - Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization - Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions - Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds - Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to: preparation, handling and serving food Preferred Qualifications: - Basic PC/Outlook skills - Retail Management Certificate Required Skills: Food Handler Card, Basic PC skills, Outlook, Retail Management Certificate, Customer Service Benefits: 401(k) Retirement Benefit, Continuing Education Benefits, And Much More!
