Job Description
Summary: Chase is a leading financial institution that offers innovative financial solutions. As an Associate on the Structured Equity Financing desk, you will support the full transaction risk lifecycle and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance deal execution and optimize resources.
Responsibilities:
- Support portfolio management of existing exposures, including covenant monitoring, risk tracking, performance reporting and asset verification
- Conduct periodic portfolio reviews across select deal types, exposures, individual transactions and emerging risks
- Contribute to platform and technology development to enhance deal execution, analytics, and workflow efficiency
- Assist with the internal day-to-day management of trading desk processes (PnL, funding, transaction booking)
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, including global desk partners, risk, and legal/regulatory teams, to review risks and progress on projects
Required Qualifications:
- Understanding of risk management and related concepts
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively
- Outstanding quantitative and qualitative skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, Bloomberg, coding skills)
- Strong interpersonal skills; a team player who partners well with a broad spectrum of peers, stakeholders, and clients
- Driven self‑starter with genuine interest in financing markets and creativity in problem solving
- Self‑aware and intellectually curious; asks questions and seeks clarity when needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of structured financing concepts
- Credit Risk or Legal background
- Understanding of hedge fund and private equity structures and strategies
