Job Description
Summary: CBRE is the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm, and they are seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the management of commercial, industrial, or retail properties. The role involves responding to tenant needs, maintaining property records, and assisting in financial activities and tenant coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to tenant needs, ensuring that administrative and building technical staff resolve problems promptly
- Ensure that services are provided in compliance with policies, procedures, regulations and contractual obligations and standards
- Maintain property records in an organized and up-to-date manner
- Interact with tenants via phone, email, and in-person
- Assist in performing periodic regular property inspections
- Recommend alterations, maintenance and reconditioning as necessary
- Review and recommend approvals to Property Manager or higher staff for accurate payment of vendor invoices on behalf of the property owner in compliance with the management agreement, CBRE policies and PM approval authorization matrix
- Responsible for assignment of Purchase Orders per CBRE Policies and PM approval authorization matrix
- Assist with the preparation of accurate tenant billings
- Assist in coordinating tenant move-ins and move-outs, and "walks-through" spaces with tenants and tenant improvement department
- Assist in preparing and delivering timely, accurate, and complete reports
- May assist in producing research data on budget line items or entering budget data provided by manager into budget reports
- May gather and confirm preliminary data for accounts receivable aging reports
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant commercial real estate experience
- In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered
- Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems
- Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc
- Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset
