Company: THE ROLE
LOCATION
This is a hybrid role based out of our New York, NY office. Our team works in-office time on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This role will be in the office every day.
ABOUT THE ROLE
• Casap is hiring an Office Manager to be the backbone of our NYC headquarters. You'll own the office end-to-end, keeping it running, stocked, and operating at a high level, while serving as a trusted partner to Casap’s department leaders, and co-founders. This role is for someone who is resourceful, personable, and takes genuine pride in building a great workplace.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Open the office daily and ensure the team is set up for a productive day
• Keep all common areas, conference rooms, and the kitchen clean, organized, and well-stocked with snacks, meals, and supplies
• Manage locking/unlocking, maintenance requests (HVAC, lighting, WiFi, bathrooms), and building compliance, resolving issues promptly and efficiently
• Source and manage vendors across food & beverage, cleaning, supplies, and office services; negotiate contracts and oversee budgets
• Plan and execute team events, happy hours, and offsites from start to finish
• Greet visitors, candidates, new hires, and customers, ensuring a polished and welcoming experience every time
• Coordinate calendars, book travel, and provide administrative support to leaders
• Support new hire onboarding and help employees feel set up for success from day one, including setting up laptops and getting new hires equipped from the start
WHAT YOU’VE DONE
• 3+ years in office management or workplace operations, preferably at a startup
• Experience with event planning, vendor management, and food & beverage programs (snacks, catered meals, vendor coordination, and budgeting)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable partnering with leadership
• Proactive, highly organized, and solutions-oriented with the ability to anticipate needs before they become problems
• Comfortable with basic IT tasks such as laptop setup and equipment configuration for new hires
• Ability to work on-site 5 days/week with flexibility for occasional early/late event hours
