Job Description
Summary: Caltrans is an equal opportunity employer in California focused on improving lives and communities through transportation. The Analyst II will support the Division of Procurement and Contracts' communications program by maintaining websites, developing training modules, and providing marketing and administrative support.
Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of the Supervisor I, the Web and Marketing Analyst (Analyst II) is part of a team responsible for the Division of Procurement and Contracts (DPAC) communications program, which includes maintaining the DPAC internal and external websites, developing training modules, marketing, and administrative support
- The Web and Marketing Analyst utilizes various software and programs to maintain the Division's website content, create new web pages, and design marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and presentations
- This position requires the ability to work independently and actively contribute as part of a team to ensure continuous knowledge transfer with team members
Required Qualifications:
- Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment

- Unofficial, original, or official sealed transcripts will be accepted and may be required upon appointment
- Applicants with foreign transcripts/degrees must provide a transcript/degree U.S. equivalency report evaluation that indicates the number of units and degree to which the foreign coursework is equivalent
- Possession of a valid driver's license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle
- Statement of qualifications (SOQ) is required for this position. Applications submitted without an SOQ will not be considered
- Experience, education and training that has prepared you to perform the responsibilities of this position
- Experience creating and/or maintaining website content and marketing/graphic design materials. Include the programs and software that were used
- Experience developing effective written and verbal communication and presenting to management, staff and/or other audiences
- Experience reviewing and remediating documents, developing webpages, and ensuring the accessibility standards are met
