Field Technician

Summary: CAI is a global services firm with over 9,000 associates worldwide. They are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Field Technician to ensure the smooth operation of toll equipment systems through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. Responsibilities: - Read and interpret complex schematics, parts/wiring diagrams, and establish test procedures - Utilize tools like volt/amp meters, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers - Perform preventative maintenance and frequent inspections of equipment - Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and networking issues - Configure toll equipment software and network devices - Conduct daily site inspections of tolling equipment and systems - Install, maintain, and monitor CCTV cameras and NVRs - Assist with equipment installation and testing at tolling sites - Work safely at heights up to 30 feet and lift up to 50 pounds - Complete maintenance documentation accurately and timely Required Qualifications: - Knowledge of electronic systems and components - Skilled in using technical tools and software environments (Windows, Unix, Linux) - Ability to read and comprehend technical and maintenance documentation - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Effective communication and teamwork skills - Valid Class E Driver's License - COMPTIA A+ Certification or equivalent - Aerial Lift Vehicle Operation Certification - Intermediate Maintenance of Traffic Certification - Completion of a 10-hour OSHA Safety Course Required Skills: Preventive Maintenance, Equipment Troubleshooting, Reading Schematics, Volt/Amp Meters, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, CCTV Cameras, NVRs, Windows, Unix, Linux, Maintenance Documentation, Electronic Systems, COMPTIA A+ Certification, Aerial Lift Vehicle Operation Certification, Maintenance of Traffic Certification, OSHA Safety Course, Class E Driver’s License, Computer Network Principles, Fiber Optic Systems, RF Systems, Hardware Installations, Cable Terminations, Network Device IP Configuration, RF Configuration Benefits: Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access., Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
