The Opportunity:
This position will serve as a key member of the Government Compliance organization and will interface with senior level management and other company personnel to ensure organizational compliance with internal policies and procedures, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and other government and contract regulatory requirements. The position serves as a government compliance subject matter expert to numerous other internal organizations, including Accounting, Contracts, Finance and Pricing, and frequently interacts with them in fulfilling its own responsibilities while helping the company maintain compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. This position requires the ability to work effectively as a team member within both the Government Compliance organization and the overall CACI organization, as well as managing and completing assigned projects independently.
Responsibilities:
This position reports to the VP, Government Compliance and is responsible for managing and leading a variety of Government Compliance projects, including the following:
Preparing and reviewing the company’s incurred cost proposals.
Responding to requests for information from the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) or other government agencies in support of ongoing audits.
Responding to the government’s questions and audit findings with the ability to research, interpret, and understand regulations to support the company’s position.
Supporting negotiations with the government customer.
Supporting the oversight of CAS audits and maintaining accurate Cost Accounting Standards Board Disclosure Statements for all applicable business segments.
Preparing and supporting cost impact analyses when the company makes changes to its government cost accounting practices.
Driving internal initiatives related to developing processes and establishing or updating policies and procedures as a result of company changes.
Researching and responding to internal inquiries related to the company’s cost accounting practices, policies, and procedures and providing guidance on Government Compliance matters to various functional stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Required:
A Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred) with 10 years of experience in government contract compliance
Strong working knowledge of the FAR (and related agency supplements), CAS, and other government regulations
Experience working with DCAA auditors and interacting with DCMA Contracting Officers
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel with large data sets and complex modeling . Strong data analytic skills required.
Desired:
Experience with Deltek Costpoint.
Experience with innovation through the use of AI tools.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$109,800 - $241,600
