Environmental Engineer I

Summary: C.T. Male Associates is an engineering firm specializing in environmental compliance, and they are seeking an Environmental Engineer I to join their team. This role involves supporting regulatory compliance projects, including site remediation and environmental assessments for a variety of clients. Responsibilities: - Support the strategic direction, client interactions, and technical deliverables associated with projects - Help improve the environment by scoping, implementing, observing, and reporting on sites that require remediation - Prepare for development, or improve subsurface conditions on various sites - Work on projects including Clean Air Act permitting, air dispersion modeling, hazardous waste auditing, and SPDES permitting - Coordinate and document spill response efforts and conduct multi-media site investigations Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in environmental or chemical engineering from an accredited university - Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record - A minimal amount of travel within New York State and the Northeast will be required in support of project activities Preferred Qualifications: - 1 - 2 years relevant post-graduate experience - Experience preparing technical reports - OSHA 40 Hour training - OSHA 10 Hour Construction training Required Skills: Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, OSHA 40 Hour Training, OSHA 10 Hour Construction Training, Driving
