Associate Attorney

Summary: Brock & Scott, PLLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented legal professional to join their firm and contribute to their mission of delivering exceptional client service. The Associate Attorney will handle foreclosure matters and utilize legal knowledge to facilitate the foreclosure process on behalf of clients. Responsibilities: - Preparation, review, and approval of foreclosure related pleadings - Handle all aspects of foreclosure matters including contested foreclosures - Participation in mediations, depositions, telephonic hearings, in-person hearings - Regular client meetings/updates - Other duties and special projects as assigned Required Qualifications: - Juris Doctorate - Member in good standing of the New Jersey Bar - Ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload - Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills - Effectively communicates with all clients (via client systems, e-mail, and phone) - Provides exceptional client service - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner - Conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management and attendance - Analytical and detail oriented, while working at a fast pace and capable of multi-tasking - Excellent problem solving and organizational skills Required Skills: Foreclosure law, Legal pleadings preparation, Mediation, Deposition, Hearing participation, Caseload management, New Jersey Bar membership, Client service, Analytical skills Benefits: Medical, Dental, Voluntary life, Voluntary vision, Critical illness, Basic life insurance policy in the amount of one time your annual salary (with a minimum of $25,000 and a maximum of $200,000.00) at no cost, Paid holidays, Accrue paid time off equal to 2 weeks during a full calendar year, 401k plan
