Accounting & Finance Intern

Summary: Brewer Science, Inc. is a major innovator of high-technology solutions for the semiconductor / microelectronics markets. They are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate for the Accounting & Finance Intern position, which involves supporting Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions while maintaining accurate financial records. The intern will also provide analytical and administrative support to the Finance team. Responsibilities: - Assist with coordinating global Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities - Provide support for the Funding Analyst role and assist with other analytical and finance-related responsibilities as needed - Perform Accounts Payable duties including opening daily mail, scanning invoices, filing documents, reviewing unmatched purchase order reports, closing purchase orders when appropriate, and completing other assigned tasks - Perform Accounts Receivable duties including processing daily invoices, entering daily receipts into the accounting system, reconciling daily bank reports, and completing other assigned tasks - Assist with the month-end close process for all global companies to help ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements - Participate in Brewer Science, Inc. internship program activities Required Qualifications: - Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Required Skills: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Invoice Processing, Financial Record Keeping, Bank Reconciliation, Month-End Close Process Benefits: Employee assistance program, Paid leave (including community service, wellness breaks, and other special leave), Medical, dental, and vision (Internship/Co-op/Temp Role Extending more than 90 days)
