Production Coordinator

Summary: The Boeing Company is a leading aerospace manufacturer, and they are seeking a Production Coordinator to join their Cutter Kitting operations team in North Charleston, South Carolina. The role involves processing and moving production materials, monitoring work in process, and coordinating with various functions to ensure production activities are completed without delays. Responsibilities: - Assist with processing and movement of production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions - Assist in monitoring work in process - Post updates to automated systems to ensure parts availability. Identifies problems or discrepancies with parts and materials - Assist within the work group to expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays - Work under close supervision Required Qualifications: - 1+ years of experience with inventory management and material planning systems - 1+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office Applications - Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift - Ability to walk, stand, climb and descend stairs, bend and lift items, package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift - Ability to support any shift based on the needs of the operation Preferred Qualifications: - 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain management - 1+ years of experience in electric and manual pallet jack operation Required Skills: Inventory Management, Material Requirements Planning Systems, Microsoft Office Applications, Supply Chain Management, Electric Pallet Jack Operation, Manual Pallet Jack Operation Benefits: Health insurance, Flexible spending accounts, Health savings accounts, Retirement savings plans, Life and disability insurance programs, Programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work
