The Boeing Company is looking for an ExperiencedTest, Evaluation, & Fabrication Lab Technician to join our team in Berkeley, MO.
As part of the Boeing Test & Evaluation division, our lab fabricates, repairs and modifies electrical cables, electronics chassis (think ‘black box’), panels, hubs and full-up equipment/test racks for all the Boeing Defense Systems platforms out of St. Louis.
Position Responsibilities Include:
Independently performs fabrication and assembly of components, cables, complex test fixtures, test systems and hubs or electronics racks using hand tools, soldering, and manual mechanical buildup
Assists in implementing manufacturing processes and technologies
Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports integration and checkout of completed products
Conducts tests, participates in design reviews. Troubleshoots and resolves laboratory and test related problems as well as maintenance and repair of lab equipment
Coaches and trains others
Works under general direction
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship
4+ years of experience working with wiring diagrams and/or functional schematics
4+ years of experience constructing wire harnesses and panels by cutting, sorting, color-coding, measuring, stripping, crimping, soldering, and routing various lengths, types, and gauges of wire, heat-shrink, and other related materials
Experience with aerospace assembly and/or electrical fabrication
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Proven ability to assemble, rework, and troubleshoot small mechanical and electrical assemblies including the use of oscilloscope, multimeters, analog and digital designs
Effective verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and under general direction
Comfortable working in a dynamic, iterative R&D environment where requirements and priorities may shift rapidly
Ability to use multi meters for electrical test

Summary Pay Range for Experienced level (Level 3): $63,750 – $86,250
