Job Description
Summary: Boeing is committed to fostering an inclusive environment and is looking for an Associate Supply Chain Specialist to join their team. This role involves managing internal purchase orders, coordinating with stakeholders, and optimizing supply chain execution.
Responsibilities:
- Manages internal Purchase Orders from start to finish: Enters Purchase Orders, coordinates all schedule improvements/slides, engaging appropriate stakeholder to resolve complex issues, ensuring BCA PO’s are shipping on time
- Cultivates and maintains relationships and partnerships with Internal Customers, Peers, Engineering, Supplier Management, and other support functions
- Coordinates commitments with internal and external stakeholder to fulfill stocking strategies
- Assist in managing supply and demand, supplier quality and On Time Delivery Performance
- Participates in cross-functional collaboration to resolve complex issues pertaining to schedule slides, detail shortages, engineering revisions and other supply chain issues impacting on time delivery
- Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply, optimizing execution of the supply chain while balancing inventory, supply orders and schedule demand
- Act as a liaison with multiple stakeholders to accomplish a common objective
- Engage in cross-functional communications to provide status updates for external customers
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines
- Must be self-driven and able to ask questions in a team environment
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience working in Supply Chain
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Able to work both independently and also in a collaborative team environment
- Able to work in fast paced environment while being able to meet strict deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Customer service experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience working as a Supply Chain Specialist
