Job Description
Summary: BMW Group US is offering a Summer 2026 internship in Network Development & Industry Relations. The role involves preparing documents for meetings, conducting market analysis, assisting in the development of presentations and reports, and supporting dealer development activities.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare documents for internal meetings and with large dealer groups
- Conduct market analysis of future market planning opportunities including optimal retail location analysis and franchising activities using respective software tools to gather data and formulate reports and documents to support actions
- Assist with the development of presentations, dealer facility capacity planning tool, milestone tracking and corporate ID documents for BMW & MINI facility renovations
- Support the development of dealer bonus and retail standards guides
- Support Dealer Development with ad-hoc analysis of key performance indicators to facilitate management decision making
- Collect information from multiple departments to create executive briefing papers for dealer group meetings, grand openings and new dealer candidate meetings
- Assist the department with the renewal of dealer contracts and documents and provide assistance as needed with Dealer Development files and versioning
- Provide support to the BMW and MINI brands to define and document brand standards, in addition to providing support to the Regions on these topics
- Assist with the tracking and creating reports on the monthly status of standards compliance
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program at an accredited college or university; Field of Study: Business, Economics, Communications, Marketing, or other relevant field
- US Work Authorization required
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (overall, not just major)
- Completed at least 60 college credit hours at the time of application
- Ability to work full-time (36.25 hours/week)
- Must submit an unofficial college transcript with your application
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Tableau
- Business fluent English
- Advanced skills in MS Excel & PowerPoint is key
- Excellent time-management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Self-motivated, adaptable to a dynamic environment
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior BMW Group experience is a plus (applicable to international J1 students only)
- Knowledge of business intelligence software such as MS Power BI or Tableau and CRM software such as Salesforce is a plus
