We are looking for a Finance Manager, Reporting & Oracle EPM Systems to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report toour Director of Financeand based in San Jose, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week.
Role Summary
TheFinance Manager, Reporting & Oracle EPM Systemsreporting to Director, Financewill play a critical role in enablingdecision‑makingat Bloom Energy by owningweekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting packages, serving as ahands‑onOracle EPM system administrator, and ensuring thatplanning, forecasting, and reporting remainsystem‑driven, accurate, anddecision‑ready.
This role is designed for aself‑directedfinance professionalwho can synthesize data across platforms, apply sound judgment under imperfect data conditions, and translate complex financial outputs into clear insights for senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Business Review & Reporting Packages
Own the creation and delivery ofweekly, monthly, and quarterly business review packages, including:
Executive summaries
Variance analyses
Key drivers, risks, and decision implications
Ensure all reporting packages aretimely,accurate, and alignedacross actuals, forecast, and plan
Translate financial results intoclear narrativesthat support leadership decisions rather than raw data reviews
Partner with Finance leadership to continuously improve thestructure, clarity, and usefulnessof reporting materials
Oracle EPM Systems Ownership & Administration
Act as aFinance Oracle EPM power user and administrator, with ownership of:
Forecasting, budgeting, and reporting models
Metadata, hierarchies, dimensions, and scenario structures
User access, data submissions, validations, and close/forecast workflows
Ensureplanning and forecasting stay within Oracle EPM, minimizing offline or shadow Excel models
Partner with IT and upstream system owners to support integrations, testing, enhancements, and upgrades
Serve as the Financepoint‑personfor Oracle EPM questions, issues, and process adherence
Data Integrity & Controls
Ensuredata integrity and consistencyacross Oracle EPM, source systems, and reporting outputs
Establish andmaintainreconciliation checks, validation rules, and controls to build trust in financial outputs
Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies quickly and transparently
Support audit readiness and reproducibility of financial reporting processes
Financial Planning, Analysis & Judgment
Build,maintain, and interpret forecasts and plans within Oracle EPM, including:
Operating forecasts
Budget updates
Cash andbalance‑sheet‑relatedviews
Applyjudgment under imperfect or incomplete data conditionsto deliverdecision‑readyoutputs on tight timelines
Synthesize information across multiple systems (ERP, CRM, EPM) to form an integrated financial view
Read, interpret, and explain financial statements with confidence and context
Self‑StarterExecution & Process Improvement
Operate independently with minimal direction, proactivelyidentifyinggaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
Drive continuous improvement in reporting, planning cadence, and system usage
Reduce manual,error‑proneprocesses by pushing work intoOracle EPM wherever appropriate
Balance speed, accuracy, and materiality to meet the needs of afast‑movingenvironment
Qualifications & Experience
Required
7+ years of experience inFP&A, Finance, or related roles
Demonstrated experience buildingexecutive‑levelreporting and business review packages
Hands‑onexperience withfinancial planning or reporting systems(Oracle EPM strongly preferred)
Strong ability tosynthesize data across platformsand translate outputs into insights
Provenself‑starterwith strong judgment, prioritization, andfollow‑through
Preferred
Oracle EPM administrator orpower‑userexperience
Experience supporting finance system transformations or implementations
Background inhigh‑growth,PE‑backed, orpre‑IPOenvironments
Strong Excel skills, with a bias toward migrating complexity into enterprise systems

Weekly, monthly, and quarterly business review packages aretrusted,timely, anddecision‑focused
Oracle EPM isactively used and enforcedas the system of record for planning and reporting
Leadership spends time discussingdecisions and risks, not reconciling numbers
Data integrity issues are rare, surfaced early, and resolved quickly
Finance outputs balancespeed, accuracy, and judgmentin animperfect‑informationenvironment
