About this role
WithinAladdin Product Engineering – Private Markets, we are hiring anAssociate Software Engineer (Full Stack)to contribute to the development and evolution ofeFrontInvest, a critical application within the Aladdin platform.
eFrontInvest is the core system for Private Markets Investment Management, supporting workflowsend‑to‑endfrom fund raising and deal flow through fund management and accounting. As part of aglobal engineering organization, you will work closely with engineers across multiple locations, contributinghands‑onto a large,long‑lived,cloud‑deployedsoftware platform.
This role is suited for an engineer withprior professional experiencewho is comfortable contributing productively in an existing codebase and who is looking to grow deeper technical and domainexpertiseover time.
About you
You are a software engineer who enjoys working onreal‑world,business‑criticalsystems, where correctness, data quality, and maintainability matter. You are comfortable taking ownership ofwell‑definedfeatures and components, while collaborating closely with more senior engineers on larger or more complex initiatives.
You are curious and eager to learn, open to feedback, and motivated to continuously improve your technical skills and understanding of the Private Markets domain. You take pride in the quality of your work and understand the impact it has on downstream users and systems.
What you will be doing
Designing and implementingfeatures and enhancementswithin theeFrontInvest platform
Working across thefull software development lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and production support
Developing andmaintainingbackend services and APIsusing .NET technologies
Contributing toweb‑baseduser interfacesusing modernfront‑endtechnologies
Writingclear, maintainable code, withappropriate testcoverage and attention to edge cases
Participating actively incode reviews, technical discussions, and team ceremonies
Diagnosing and fixing issues in existing systems, including legacy components, with guidance where appropriate
Contributing toCI/CD pipelinesand learning the operational aspects of running software in production
Collaborating closely with engineers, QA, and product partners across locations
Leveraging modern IDEs andAI‑assisteddevelopment toolsto improve productivity and code quality

What you bring
A Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree inComputer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
Professional experiencebuilding and supporting production software systems
Strong foundationinobject‑orientedprogrammingand relational databases
Experience working inexisting codebases, not just greenfield projects
Ability to independently deliver solutions towell‑definedproblems
Solid analytical andproblem‑solvingskills
Professional fluency inEnglish, written and spoken
