Job Description
Summary: BizDepot Brokers is a California-based business brokerage and M&A advisory firm, operating since 2003. They are seeking a Buy-Side Intern to work on their Insider Network, engaging with acquisition buyers and gaining hands-on experience in the M&A field while completing their degree.
Responsibilities:
- Reach out to past buyer leads in our CRM, including listing inquiries, NDA signers, and CIM recipients, to re-engage them
- Run conversations to capture each buyer's acquisition criteria, capital, and timing
- Sign qualified buyers into the Insider Network and segment them by industry, geography, and budget
- Match active listings to buyers whose criteria fit, and pitch the opportunity
- Maintain warm buyer relationships between deals so they come back to BizDepot first
- Route serious buyers to advisors when they're LOI-ready
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled (juniors and seniors preferred) in business, finance, economics, psychology, communications, or a related field
- Can commit 12 to 15 hours per week, flexible around your class schedule
- Tired of guessing about your future and want a defined, ambitious path
- Build relationships easily and follow through without being reminded
- Organized, detail-oriented, and good at remembering people and what they care about
- Drawn to the buy-side, where success is about access, trust, and matching
