Operations Program Delivery Lead, Estimating
Accountable for ensuring projects are accurately structured and brought into InEight at the estimating stage, establishing a strong foundation for reliable cost control, forecasting, and execution.
The role drives disciplined application of estimating standards and aligns with project and district teams to ensure Estimate Conformance is achieved prior to project startup, reinforcing data integrity, consistency, and operational excellence—while working in collaboration with project estimators and delivery teams.
What You Will Be Working On
Estimating & Project Setup
Lead the development, structuring, and preparation of project estimates in InEight Estimate, ensuring completeness and alignment to standard structures.
Work closely with project estimators and operations teams to ensure estimates reflect project strategy, execution approach, and risk considerations.
Standardization & One Bird Alignment
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of One Bird standard estimating processes, ensuring consistency across business units while respecting operational differences.
Support the evolution of estimating standards to ensure they enable accurate project setup, effective conformance, and reliable downstream execution.
Ensure future-state processes and structures are practical, adoptable, and aligned with how projects are executed in the field.
Estimate Conformance
Reinforce Estimate Conformance as a critical core business process, helping teams understand its importance in ensuring projects are set up for successful execution, forecasting, and reporting.
Partner with Project Managers, estimators, and District leadership to review and strengthen estimates, supporting alignment to conformance expectations.
Standards & Process Discipline
Ensure consistent use of InEight Estimate and InEight Control as core tools across all applicable projects.
Guide and support teams in aligning to standardized estimate structures and data requirements, enabling consistent enterprise reporting.
Reduce reliance on non-standard tools, spreadsheets, or side systems, supporting teams in transitioning to enterprise solutions.
Collaboration & Enablement
Act as a supporting partner to project estimators, enhancing estimate quality and structure without replacing project ownership of the estimate.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment between estimate development, execution strategy, and reporting expectations.
Leadership Expectations
Champion Estimate Conformance as a critical control process, ensuring it is understood and applied consistently.
Lead through influence and collaboration, enabling teams rather than directing or replacing their responsibilities.

Consistent and accurate project setup within InEight at the estimating stage
Improved forecasting readiness and cost control alignment at project startup
Strong adherence to Estimate Conformance and standardized structures
Qualifications & Experience
Experience in construction estimating and project cost development
Strong understanding of project execution, cost control, and forecasting principles
Experience with InEight Estimate, InEight Control, or similar enterprise tools
Ability to work collaboratively across estimating, project, and leadership teams
Demonstrated ability to implement and sustain standardized processes
Core Competencies
Strong focus on data integrity and estimate quality
Ability to drive process discipline while maintaining flexibility for project needs
Excellent collaboration and influencing skills
Understanding of end-to-end project lifecycle from estimate to execution
