The role
Joining us as a Platform Integration Engineer, you will act as a specialist who will implement new digital form and software solutions to further develop and maintain Beyond Bank’s applications. This role focuses on designing and delivering digital and system integrations across enterprise platforms, leveraging cloud‑native and custom development solutions including Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and other integrated systems. You will act as a subject matter expert in Azure Integration services (API Management, Functions, Logic Apps) and modern application development using .NET Core, C#, and Java.
Some of your key duties will be to:
Engage with other Engineers, key stakeholders and SMEs through business requirements, system design and functional specification, to design customer centric, efficient, fit for purpose digital forms, process automation software applications, workflows, and integrations.
Build and manage digital forms, software applications, automation workflows and integrations with our core systems to improve end user experience, create operational efficiencies and optimisations.
Design and build APIs that are secure, resilient, observable, versioned, discoverable, and well-documented.
Develop and maintain technical documents and specifications to accurately represent application design and code.
Own the design, delivery, and ongoing evolution of platform integrations, including configuring, testing, and implementing enhancements, upgrades, and new technologies to enable seamless connectivity across enterprise systems and support broader business and IT strategy.
qualifications
A little about you:
We’re looking for a hands-on Integration Engineer who thrives on building and connecting systems using Azure and modern API practices. You’re a strong problem solver, confident working across technical and business teams, and take pride in delivering high-quality, scalable solutions that improve end user and business outcomes
Strong understanding of software engineering principles, integration patterns, and the SDLC
Hands‑on experience with Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, Function Apps, API Management, and Service Bus
Familiarity with Power Platform, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, SharePoint Online, Office 365, and Azure DevOps
Experience working with REST APIs, Swagger / OpenAPI, and modern API design practices
Proficiency with front‑end basics (HTML, CSS) where required for form or workflow integrations
