Job Description
Summary: Clarke Power Services, Inc. is a well-established industry leader in the automotive and heavy-duty vehicle sectors, known for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. They are seeking a dedicated Customer Support Representative to manage customer relationships and facilitate service processes, ensuring seamless communication between clients and technical teams.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance customer relationships through effective communication and service support
- Solicit the sale of new or additional services and parts to existing customers
- Utilize computer systems to update customers on ongoing repairs, process service invoices, and manage warranty claims
- Handle and resolve service-related concerns promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with technicians and parts departments to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
- Assist in scheduling and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Adhere to health and safety policies, implementing safety procedures to create a secure work environment
- Participate in ongoing training and development initiatives to stay current with industry standards and company policies
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong technical background, ideally with previous experience in parts or service support
- ASE certifications are highly encouraged
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent data entry skills
- Proficient in using computer systems to update customer information, process invoices, and manage warranty claims
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to build professional relationships
- Self-motivated
- Ability to handle service-related concerns effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Holding a CDL is considered a plus
Required Skills: Technical background
Important Skills: ASE certifications, Data entry skills, Computer proficiency
Nice-to-Have Skills: Interpersonal skills
