Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Coach to join our team and support individuals on their journey to recovery from substance abuse and mental health challenges. As a Recovery Coach, you will play a crucial role in providing guidance, encouragement, and resources to help participants achieve and maintain their recovery goals. Our ideal candidate is someone who has a deep understanding of the recovery process, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping others.
Job Description:
Provide peer recovery coaching through outreach, one-on-one support, and peer support groups.
Maintain accurate participant records and documentation.
Connect clients with recovery resources, educational materials, and community services.
Support coordination with recovery agencies and assist clients and families in community settings such as libraries, community centers, and churches to access supportive services and resources.
High School Diploma, GED, or experience equivalency.
Experience in providing or facilitating services to persons in recovery is preferred.
Persons in recovery must meet one (1) year sobriety requirement.
Current Texas driver’s license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance are required.
Capacity to travel within the service region for service delivery and across the state for training as needed.
