About the Role
You'll sit across our IT and Integrations teams, serving both. You'll partner closely with the Integrations team to land the IT and systems slice of every acquisition — getting people, devices, identity, and core tools stood up inside Beacon while the broader integration program runs in parallel.
This is a hands-on role on a small, flat team. You'll run the program and do the work. When users need to be moved over to a new system, you're as likely to be running the migration as scoping it. You're a builder who happens to be great at program management, and you're energized by being close to the work rather than one layer removed from it.
What You'll Do
- Lead integrations end to end, in partnership with the Integrations team. Every acquisition is a full integration — people, systems, and operations all need to land. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the Integrations team, owning the IT and systems slice from kickoff to close-out: identity, devices, security baselines, data migration. You scope it, sequence it, and stay close to the execution.
- Build, operationalize, and automate the playbooks. Work with the Integrations team to write the IT and systems integration playbooks, then continuously sharpen and automate them deal over deal. The best playbooks come from the people running the work, so you'll write them from real experience — precise enough to execute from, flexible enough to flex per deal. The next integration is faster, leaner, and more automated than the last.
- Help build the IT function from the ground up. Beacon's IT and Systems function is early, so you'll help shape the foundation and then mature how this team works: roadmapping, prioritization, vendor selection, rollouts, change management, documentation, and the operating cadence we run on. You bring rigor without bureaucracy, and you're comfortable rolling up your sleeves when that's what the work needs.
- Engage as a technical peer. IAM, MDM, SSO, enterprise integrations, ITGC controls. You've administered these systems, not just managed programs around them. You can spot gaps in a design, pressure-test a vendor proposal, and write requirements engineers can build from.
You Probably Have
- 10+ years in IT, enterprise systems, or technical program management, with real operator depth (you've personally administered IAM, MDM, or core SaaS systems)
- Experience running M&A technical integrations, either as IT lead or PMO
- Track record of building playbooks and frameworks other people actually use
- Comfort operating without process. You create structure in ambiguous environments rather than waiting for it
- Exceptional written communication
- Bias for action; you'd rather ship than schedule a meeting about shipping
