Job Description
Summary: Baker Newman Noyes (BNN) is a top 100 tax, assurance, and advisory firm in the U.S. seeking an enthusiastic Audit Staff accountant. The role involves conducting audits, evaluating financial transactions, and collaborating with a team to ensure compliance and proper financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting audits of large and medium-sized companies in a variety of industries
- Evaluate and test financial transactions for proper financial reporting, compliance with policies and adequacy of internal controls
- Work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels, including high-level management at clients
- Participate in providing clients with an audit report
Required Qualifications:

- Participate in providing clients with an audit report
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar field
- Minimum 3.0 GPA required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in accounting is desirable but not mandatory
- CPA certification (active or in process) preferred
