PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To ensure compliance with legal regulations; pertaining to the importation of goods into United States of America.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee and track all incoming shipments from multiple vendors

Communications with shipping lines/airlines to obtain documentation on all arrivals.

Classification of shipments per US Customs Tariff codes

Processing of FTZ admission entries (CF214) and submitting to US Customs via the ACE

Monitor release of cargo and coordinate pickup or delivery of cargo to warehouse

Prepare duty-paid entries for bonded Testers, GWPs, Shortages, etc.

Create internal documents to receiving goods in inventory system.

Maintain permit/master file folder per U.S. Customs Regulations

Calculate storage charges (if any) and request check.

Prepare and File with U.S. Customs Discrepancy Reports for Shortage or Damages
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Required:
-
3 years of experience in a similar role, experience in import and export procedures.

Organizational and negotiation skills
-
Analytical mindset and close attention to detail
-
Used to work under pressure
-
Excel Intermediate Level required.

U.S. Customs Regulations

U.S. Customs FTZ/CBW
-
Other Governmental Agencies Regulations/Policies such as FDA/USDA
