Student Intern- Summer Term

Summary: Atrium Health is part of Advocate Health, a leading nonprofit integrated health system in the United States. They are seeking a Student Intern for the Summer Term to assist with research projects, administrative tasks, and support services, enhancing their college study and objectives. Responsibilities: - Performs duties including patient and family visits, delivery of support services, studies, investigations, research projects, and other assignments - Provides administrative coverage of the office such as answering phone and maintaining computer data - Types documents such as letters and creates spreadsheets and presentations - Assists with research projects, data analysis, and/or creating various reports - Assists with entering data and filing - Communicates verbally and in writing with all levels within the System and with the public Required Qualifications: - GED or equivalent, Undergraduate, Master's or Postgraduate enrollment required - Excellent planning, prioritizing, oral/written communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and team skills required - Ability to work collaboratively as a team member and ability to respond creatively to a rapidly changing environment required - Computer skills required - Work requires walking, sitting, lifting and reaching overhead - Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds, shoulder height - Must be able to push patients in wheelchairs or supplies on a rolling cart - Intact sense of sight and hearing is required - Responsible for working in a safe manner Required Skills: Data Analysis, Report Creation Benefits: Paid Time Off programs, Health and welfare benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, andShort- and Long-Term Disability, Flexible Spending Accounts for eligible health care and dependent care expenses, Family benefits such as adoption assistance and paid parental leave, Defined contribution retirement plans with employer match and other financial wellness programs, Educational Assistance Program
