CSCM General Quality Specialist
Location: Hwasung, Korea
Context
The work requires general knowledge of the systems and more advanced knowledge on a main competence.
Develops competency in core quality areas with limited exposure to multiple competencies.
Has improved understanding of products and their functionalities. Has advanced knowledge of 1 module.
Performs activities in multiple competences with some autonomy, seeking support when needed.
Applies known methods and procedues to solve quality issues in an environment with limited (technical) uncertainties.
Interfaces with peers in the own team and adjacent teams.
Makes recommendations for basic improvement actions.
Works under distant supervision, focused on progress and results. Plans own work, with help of senior colleagues.
Requirements
Bachelor degree in a relevant field e.g. Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or other relevant area with no/limited experience
3+ years of relevant experiences
Responsibilities
Quality Control, Assurance & Compliance
Executes more comprehensive quality control and testing activities.
Conducts audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Contributes to the analysis of data trends and to the development of improved quality procedures.
Supports training of junior staff in quality control methods.
Expert Knowledge, Advice & Capability Building
Provides input for training & work instructions.
May act as buddy for new colleagues and participate in onboarding programs.
Contributes to the development and delivery of training programs for quality control methods and procedures. Provides training to junior staff and team members.
Procedures, Standards Development & Adherence
Promotes and manages the adoption & adherence of quality procedures and standards.
Performance & Data Analytics
Analyzes quality-related data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
Uses basic statistical methods and tools to interpret data and generate insights for quality enhancement.
Documenting & Reporting
Performs comprehensive documentation and reporting tasks.
Maintains detailed records of quality control procedures, audits, and corrective actions.
Prepares clear and concise reports on quality metrics and presents findings to team members.
Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving
Contributes to structured problem-solving efforts in the own team. Assists in conducting root cause analysis for simple quality issues and proposes basic corrective and preventive actions.
Process Improvement
Executes structured process improvement efforts.
Collaborates with teams to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains in quality control processes.
Implements and tracks basic process enhancements.
Manage Customer Expectations
Engages in more comprehensive customer interactions, actively listening to customer feedback and concerns.
Provides detailed explanations of quality control processes and addresses moderate customer expectations.
Culture & Community
Actively promote/use of the Q&E Reward & Recognition program and Q&E Communication Strategy.
