Job Description
Summary: Ascension is a leading nonprofit Catholic health system focused on reimagining healthcare. The Strategic Growth Analytics Intern will support the development of analytics that drive improvements in strategic planning, marketing, and business operations, while gaining exposure to various areas within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Support and contribute to the development of analytics that supports Ascension's improvements in strategic planning, CX, marketing, business development, and business operations
- The internship will consist of project(s) and shadowing of different areas within our Strategic Growth organization
- You will work on problems that will help inform senior leaders regarding operational and strategy decisions and measure the progress and outcomes of those decisions
- Common tasks will involve: Developing knowledge around existing business processes, functions and data sources that will be utilized in the business insights and recommendation development
- Working together with the analysts and consultants in coordinating across functional, data, operational teams and with leaders to ensure accuracy, consistency and optimization of the overall work product and business insights
- Ability to engage with stakeholders to obtain necessary data for analyses which could include disparate source systems and data structures
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with large data sets and common data analysis tools (SQL, tableau, PowerBI) are preferred
