Job Description
Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As an Integration Developer you will be a key part of the ERP and Business Systems team and will be responsible for leading integration solutions from architectural design to final handover. You will work closely with stakeholders, internal technology teams, and global vendors to co-create a scalable, resilient system landscape. You are someone who bridges the gap between complex technical logic and business value. You bring a sense of stability, empowerment, grit, and professionalism to the team, acting as a technical lighthouse for our most critical data flows.
Meet Your Future Team:
The ERP and Business Applications department is comprised of technical professionals and subject matter experts who understand the tools that power a global premium outdoor brand. We strategically define business cases, prioritize projects, and deliver ERP and Commercial projects, ensuring that dependencies are mapped out to deliver the overall technology roadmap. Together, we manage and improve technical tools for design, finance, logistics, and global sales—supporting the "heroes" who get our gear into the hands of athletes.
If you were in the Integrations Developer role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Overseeing the full lifecycle of ERP integration solutions, including design, development, and go-live support for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid scenarios.
- Designing and building high-performance interfaces, ensuring data integrity across a complex ecosystem of SAP and non-SAP applications.
- Partnering with vendors and business leads to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, "API-first" integration patterns.
- Providing guidance and conduct code reviews for team members, ensuring alignment with integration best practices.
- Staying at the forefront of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) advancements and industry trends to replace legacy patterns with modern, efficient solutions.
- Documenting technical decisions, identify potential bottlenecks, and execute proactive mitigation plans.
- Proactively identify and resolve system issues before they impact our global supply chain or retail operations.
Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:
- Leading the migration from SAP PI/PO to BTP Integration Suite, moving toward a microservices and event-driven architecture.
- Developing and enforcing global policies, security controls, and development standards for all organizational integrations.
- Leading large-scale projects enabling the company to innovate in areas like circular economy (ReBIRD™), global logistics, and omnichannel retail.
Are you our next Integrations Developer - SAP?
- You have University degree or technical diploma with 5+ years of dedicated experience in SAP Integration.
- You have strong expertise in SAP BTP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh).
- You are proficient in Groovy Script and XSLT for complex message mapping and transformation.
- You have practical experience with protocols and adapters including IDOC, SFTP, OData, SOAP, and REST.
- You have familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and automated testing tools for integrations.
- You have a strong understanding of security standards, including OAuth 2.0, SAML, and SSL/Certificate management.
- You are familiar with SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) and the broader SAP S/4HANA landscape.
- You can clearly explain complex technical "black boxes" to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
- You are adaptable, thrive in ambiguity, and balance the need for autonomous "deep work" with high-level team collaboration.
- Your passion for technical excellence is matched by your passion for the outdoors and a desire to build tools that withstand the elements.
