Job Description
Summary: Applied Maintenance Supplies and Solutions is a leading distributor and technical solutions provider, and they are seeking a Business Development Representative to drive sales and build customer relationships. The role involves developing new business, conducting sales activities, and achieving sales goals through a consultative approach.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales and profit goals by developing new business through cold calling, prospecting, and in-person presentations
- Conduct sales activities, develop strong customer relationships, identify product applications, and introduce new products and services
- Prepare quotations and proposals, follow up and negotiate terms, and close transactions
- Product demonstration sessions for customers, survey market, and competitive conditions
- Complete reports regarding itineraries, expenses, sales calls, leads and other related reports
Required Qualifications:
- 1 + years' business to business sales experience or proven professional leadership skills
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record are essential
- Basic word, excel, and computer skills
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Must be able to travel 40-50% of the time
- Proven experience in developing new business, building repeat business, and managing a sales territory
- Business to business outside sales experience
- This is not eligible for relocation benefits and is expected to be performed on site
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the US. We are not able to offer sponsorship of work visas for this position
