For our business, for clients, and for you JOB SUMMARY The AI Innovation Manager leads the AI development team at CAIDO Group, driving the strategy and execution of innovative AI solutions. This leadership role combines technical expertise with people management, ensuring the team delivers high-impact AI applications aligned with business objectives. The Manager represents AI initiatives to senior leadership and stakeholders. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead and manage a team of AI specialists and data scientists • Define AI innovation strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals • Oversee the development and deployment of AI solutions across the organization • Drive research initiatives to explore cutting-edge AI technologies • Establish best practices for AI development, MLOps, and model governance • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify high-value AI opportunities • Manage project priorities, timelines, and resource allocation • Ensure AI solutions meet ethical standards and regulatory requirements • Present AI strategies and results to executive leadership • Build partnerships with academic institutions and industry thought leaders • Conduct performance reviews and drive career development for team members • Manage the team budget and vendor relationships REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field preferred • 6-10 years of experience in AI/ML development and implementation • 3+ years of people management and team leadership experience • Deep expertise in machine learning and AI technologies • Track record of delivering impactful AI solutions • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills • Experience managing AI projects from concept to production at scale • Knowledge of AI ethics, governance, and regulatory landscape • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing technical teams PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • PhD in AI/ML-related field with research publications • Experience in financial services or fund administration industry • Background in generative AI and LLM applications • Public speaking and industry thought leadership • Experience with AI product commercialization • MBA or executive leadership training WORK DETAILS • Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent • Location: Pune, India • Department: CAIDO Group - Innovation and AI • Reports To: Head of AI / CAIDO Leadership • Work Type: Office-based with potential hybrid options Disclaimer: Unsolicited CVs sent to Apex (Talent Acquisition Team or Hiring Managers) by recruitment agencies will not be accepted for this position.
