Project Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a project manager to serve as the execution engine for a fast-growing venture studio developing a breakthrough liquid cooling solution for AI data centers. This role is central to translating strategy into action—owning project planning, cross‑functional coordination, and operational execution as we move from development through early commercialization.
This is not a traditional PM role in a mature organization. You will build structure, drive accountability across technical and business stakeholders, and ensure that critical initiatives stay on track in a dynamic, startup environment. You will have real ownership, high visibility, and a direct impact on the success of the venture.
What You’ll Do
Project & Program Management
Own end-to-end planning and execution of cross‑functional projects spanning product development, operations, vendors, and external partners
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risk registers
Drive execution rigor: track progress, surface risks early, and ensure timely resolution of blockers
Lead regular project reviews and status updates with internal leadership and stakeholders
Cross‑Functional Coordination
Act as the central point of coordination across engineering, operations, leadership, and external partners
Ensure alignment on priorities, scope, and deliverables as requirements evolve
Proactively manage tradeoffs between speed, scope, and resources in a startup context
Operational Process & Infrastructure
Design and implement scalable project and operational processes
Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, and operating cadences that support execution at scale
Continuously identify gaps or inefficiencies and implement pragmatic improvements
Vendor & Logistics Management
Coordinate logistics for prototypes, test equipment, coolant samples, and other development materials
Support vendor onboarding, procurement coordination, and tracking of deliverables
Maintain organized records of vendor agreements, purchase orders, and operational documentation
Ownership of Critical Initiatives
Take full ownership of ad‑hoc initiatives and special projects critical to venture progress
Operate with a high degree of autonomy and accountability in ambiguous situations
What We’re Looking For
3–5 years of experience in project management, program management, or operations
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
Strong execution mindset with proven ability to drive projects to completion
Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Comfort operating in ambiguity and fast‑changing startup environments
Self‑starter who proactively identifies problems and drives solutions
Personal Attributes
Execution‑Driven: Relentless about follow‑through and delivery
Detail‑Oriented: Nothing falls through the cracks
Proactive Problem Solver: Anticipates issues and acts without waiting
Strong Communicator: Clear, structured, and confident across audiences
Ownership Mentality: Treats the business as if it were your own
Growth‑Minded: Excited to grow with the venture and take on increasing responsibility
