Center for Cancer Care Impact Intern

Summary: The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) is dedicated to improving cancer care through research and education. They are seeking a highly motivated intern to support their mission by conducting research, drafting content, and engaging with patient communities and professional organizations. Responsibilities: - Conduct research and help draft content in support of the Center’s impact; deliverables focused on issues important to the oncology community - Help analyze, plan, and execute patient community and professional organization engagement activities for increased impact and efficiency - Complete CCCI-related ad-hoc assignments as needed Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in an undergraduate BA/BS degree program, or graduate program, or recently graduated from a 4-year degree program - Candidates must be at least a junior or entering their junior year of college at the start of the internship - Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (365 preferred) - A passion for impacting cancer care access and quality - Excellent research skills, with ability to synthesize inputs and information and produce reports and/or presentations on findings - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Excellent writing skills - Solid organizational and time management skills - Critical thinking skills, and attention to detail - Excellent customer service skills and professionalism - Willingness to enhance skills Required Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Research skills Important Skills: Communication skills, Writing skills Nice-to-Have Skills: Customer service, Professionalism, Willingness to enhance skills, Organizational skills, Time management, Critical thinking, Attention to detail Benefits: ASCO will provide parking or a metro subsidy.
