Job Description
Summary: Amentum is a company involved in operations and maintenance for critical mission systems for NORAD. The Business Operations Intern will support the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment and Space Support Contract II by providing administrative support and assistance in various organizational functions.
Responsibilities:
- Provides assistance of substantial variety and complexity
- Serves as an organizational authority, in areas of administrative responsibility
- Develops, recommends, and implements timely completion of functions to satisfy the company's requirements, which may include scheduling of material, man-hours, or information services
- Establishes and maintains close liaison with internal organizations, customers, and external firms or agencies
- Provides administrative support to the General Manager's Office, Chief Engineer, Human Resources, Finance Team and other Functional areas within the NISSC II Program
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance
- Work with and maintain confidential, proprietary, and sensitive information
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Greet customers, candidates and vendors while following strict security processes
- Take ownership of requests; tailor solutions to the situation; be timely in follow-up; resourceful in information gathering
- Must be well-organized, to include high attention to detail, with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be able to interface with individuals at all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing
- Must have a HS Diploma (or GED) and a minimum of 2 years of direct experience and 3 years of general work history
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience providing administrative support within a professional environment
