Business Operations Analyst & Project Manager

Summary: AMD is a company focused on building innovative products that drive next-generation computing experiences. They are seeking a motivated Business Operations Analyst & Project Manager to support cross-functional operations throughout the product lifecycle, integrating data and streamlining workflows while collaborating with various teams. Responsibilities: - Develop and evolve lightweight tools and processes that bring together data from multiple functional domains. The focus is to connect information in different legacy systems and/or generated manually - Utilize Excel, Power BI, Python, SQL, Power-Query, AI application (i.e. Claude) or other available tools to build useful, reliable information sets for the team. What is required is a savvy user of productivity tools, not a programmer to rapidly create simple models and applications to support business processes that adapt as the business mature - Work with internal IT or external vendors to mature data flows and reporting automation over time - Support NPI Program Managers by consolidating schedules, shipment data, and cross‑functional inputs - Support NPI Program Managers in managing local physical inventory of boards and executing and tracking engineering sample shipments - Create and distribute recurring reports to support operational decision‑making - Develop templates, structures, and methods that scale as the business grows - Continuously improve reporting quality, accuracy, and automation - Represent the Business Ops & NPI function in cross‑functional meetings where appropriate - Support project execution by coordinating actions, tracking progress, and escalating issues - Provide structured updates to stakeholders within NTSG Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline - Skilled experience in supply chain, business operations, finance, IT/application development, consulting, or related fields - Strong analytical and logical thinking skills - Expert level knowledge with Excel, familiarity with Power BI and Anthropic Claude is required; Power Query, SQL or Python is a plus (not required at expert level) - Project management experience (formal or informal) - Understanding of ERP/MRP/CRM systems and how data flow across business functions - Strong service orientation and attention to detail - Ability to manage several tasks in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Growth mindset and genuine interest in learning and improving processes, hand-on attitude Required Skills: Excel, Power BI, Python, SQL, Power Query, ERP systems, MRP systems, CRM systems, Data Integration, Reporting Automation, Project Management Benefits: Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance
