Security Officer - Part Time Safety Hospital

The Security Officer - Part Time Safety Hospital role in Delray Beach, FL, is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site while allowing flexibility for additional shifts. Responsibilities: - Provide customer service to patients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location - Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel - Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions - Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, assisting with access control, visitor direction, and/or general support for daily site operations - Support healthcare location protocols by observing patient and visitor activity, communicating clearly with staff, and/or helping with orderly responses to medical, behavioral, and facility-related situations Required Qualifications: - Must be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements - Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue - Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED - Must be 21+ years of age - Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting, as required - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only Required Skills: Hospital vaccine compliance, Hospital environment safety, Individual restraint in hospital setting, Background investigation compliance, Drug screening compliance, State/local security licensing Benefits: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more., Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities., Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future., Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.
