Security Officer Gate Officer

As a Security Officer Gate Officer in Coffeyville, KS, you will conduct routine patrols, support access activities, and deliver outstanding customer service in a dynamic chemical and petrochemical environment. Responsibilities: - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location - Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper communication channels - Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, administrative spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with attention to varying environmental conditions and site activity - Monitor access points and verify entry authorization for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, helping to support site rules and control of restricted areas - Observe for potential hazards, policy violations, equipment concerns, and/or suspicious activity, and report findings to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as directed Required Qualifications: - A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only Preferred Qualifications: - Access control and badge experience is preferred - CPR certification is preferred Required Skills: Access Control, Badge Experience, CPR Certification, Customer Service Benefits: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more., Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities., Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance., Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.
