Security Officer Community Patrol Associate

As a Security Officer Community Patrol Associate in Johns Creek, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in various industries, conducting routine patrols and supporting a welcoming atmosphere for shoppers and staff. Responsibilities: - Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate - Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership - Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, common areas, and perimeter spaces, as assigned - Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential risks such as shoplifting, trespassing, or disorderly conduct, helping to deter disruptions through visible presence and professional interaction - Support access and loss prevention-related activities by observing customer and employee movement, assisting with crowd management during busy periods, and following post orders for opening, closing, and special events Required Qualifications: - Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience - Be at least 21 years of age - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only Preferred Qualifications: - Customer service experience is preferred - Access control and badge experience is preferred - Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred Required Skills: Security-related Experience, Access Control, Badge Management, Computer Literacy, Emergency Response, Incident Documentation, Customer Service Benefits: Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more., Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities., Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future., Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.
