What you’ll do as Global Process Expert:
Act as the subject-matter expert for end-to-end Record to Report processes, supporting the Global Process Owner in defining, documenting, and governing the global process model, policies, and controls.
Drive close excellence by improving cycle time, predictability, and quality, whilst ensuring robust balance sheet integrity through reconciliation frameworks, global standards, and clear accountability.
Embed and maintain a robust internal control framework across Record to Report, driving consistent control execution, documentation, and leveraging audit insights to optimise policies.
Identify systemic issues, leading initiatives for process standardisation, harmonisation, automation, and digitisation within Record to Report activities to reduce rework and inefficiencies.
Lead and support global finance transformation initiatives, including the delivery of specific process improvement programmes and the definition and implementation of standard global processes, ensuring effective adoption through UAT, training, and change management.
Act as a key interface, fostering strong partnerships with Group Finance, regional teams, Shared Services, and IT to drive alignment on process design, governance, project delivery, and effective communication across all levels.
You are:
Considerable experience in Record to Report within a global, matrixed organisation or shared services environment.
Strong end-to-end RTR knowledge, including close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Proven experience in finance transformation, process standardisation, or operating model design.
Experience working within a controlled, audit-driven environment.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g. M3CS) and close/reconciliation tools (e.g. Tagetik).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause identification skills.
A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience.
