Job Description
• Build robust project finance models (DCF, cashflow waterfalls, debt sizing, covenant checks, sensitivity/scenario analysis) for urban/township/industrial infrastructure.
• Lead cost–benefit and economic analysis (NPV, IRR/EIRR, benefit valuation, distributional impacts, risk/uncertainty treatment) aligned to recognized guidelines.
• Structure PPPs end-to-end: feasibility, risk allocation, payment mechanisms, performance metrics, VGF assessments, and value-for-money (VfM) benchmarking.
• Advise on transaction strategy: market sounding, investor/lender engagement, procurement method selection, bid evaluation frameworks, and negotiation support.
• Develop high-quality deliverables: concept notes, feasibility reports, PPP options assessments, information memoranda, tender/RFP documents, and evaluation reports.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, environmental, legal, and commercial teams to align technical, commercial, and contractual solutions.
• Assess financing options (debt/equity structures, blended finance, guarantees, credit enhancements) and support bankability with lenders and DFIs.
• Present findings to senior client stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, policies, and best-practice methodologies; maintain rigorous documentation and audit trails.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge assets, tools, and templates.
Qualifications
Education: CA or MBA (Finance) or Master’s in Economics or Master’s in Infrastructure Finance.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure finance, project finance, PPPs, or transaction advisory.
• Track Record: Completed at least 3 assignments involving one or more of the following for large-scale urban/township/industrial projects:
- Financial modelling
- Cost–benefit/economic analysis
- PPP structuring
- Transaction advisory

• Advanced financial modelling (Excel-based; proficiency with scenarios, sensitivities, probabilistic analysis beneficial).
• Strong grasp of project finance principles, PPP frameworks, risk allocation, VfM and affordability assessments.
• Applied economic analysis: demand/benefits estimation, externalities, willingness-to-pay, and distributional analysis.
• Transaction advisory excellence: procurement strategy, bid documentation, evaluation methodologies, and closing support.
• Clear communication, executive-ready report writing, and stakeholder management.
• Strategic problem solving with attention to detail, quality assurance, and deadline discipline.
• Collaboration across multidisciplinary teams; ability to translate technical inputs into financeable structures.
