Customer Service Specialist (Front Desk) Multiple Locations KC Metro Area

Summary: AdventHealth is a community-focused organization dedicated to uplifting individuals in body, mind, and spirit. They are seeking a Customer Service Specialist (Front Desk) who will be responsible for scheduling patient appointments, maintaining medical records confidentiality, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities: - Collaborates with leadership to provide accurate and timely completion of projects - Schedules patient appointments and collects payments - Maintains confidentiality of medical records and other sensitive information - Adheres to the Corporate Compliance plan and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations - Organizes and maintains the department filing system efficiently - Processes and distributes incoming, outgoing, and interoffice mail (including faxes) - Performs daily reconciliation of payments and adjustments - Demonstrates knowledge and maintenance of office equipment, including phone systems, photocopiers, computers, fax machines, and calculators - Other duties as assigned - Answers and routes phone calls using good judgment, ensuring messages are relayed timely and accurately Required Qualifications: - Demonstrated customer service skills - Ability to communicate effectively over the phone and in person - General clerical skills - High School Grad or Equiv - 1+ of experience - 1+ work experience Preferred Qualifications: - Associate - 1+ of position-related experience Required Skills: General Clerical Skills, Appointment Scheduling, Payment Processing, Medical Records Confidentiality, Office Equipment Operation, Customer Service Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Paid Time Off from Day One, 403-B Retirement Plan, 4 Weeks 100% Paid Parental Leave, Career Development, Whole Person Well-being Resources, Mental Health Resources and Support, Pet Benefits
