Web Programmer

Summary: Advait Consulting LLC is seeking a Web Programmer for a full-time, on-site position in Dallas, TX. The role involves web design and development, focusing on creating user-friendly websites and providing technical recommendations to improve customer interactions. Responsibilities: - Perform web design functions to create or update web sites by providing a great look and user-friendly feel for positive customer interaction - Understand the principles of design and usability to make the applications work interactively with the design - Determine appropriate architecture and other technical solutions to make relevant recommendations to customers - Engage in outside-the-box thinking to provide high value of service to customer base - Perform the full spectrum of Web-related tasks, including design and layout, graphics creation and optimization, server-side programming, MYSQL and databases, traffic generation and ongoing updates of existing web sites - Support of and development with MS Office 365, MS SharePoint 2013 and associated tools, such as SharePoint Designer, SharePoint InfoPath, and other tools, to provide cloud-based solutions, using the EPA standard collaboration and communications tool, MS Office 365 SharePoint - Analyze, identify, design, and integrate unique solutions to sustain and improve user business processes; perform scripting and support and automate network processes as necessary - Contractor shall develop and maintain intranet web site and fulfill new web development directives from HQ - Since computer technology changes rapidly, web designers must constantly stay abreast of new developments in graphics software packages as well as those in the World Wide Web and related technologies Required Qualifications: - Experience with Adobe Dreamweaver - Experience with Cold Fusion - Experience with Drupal Web Services - Proficiency in CSS - Experience with Paint Pro Shop - Experience with Adobe Flash - Proficiency in JavaScript - Proficiency in DOM - Proficiency in HTML - Proficiency in XHTML programming - Experience with Adobe Illustrator - Experience with XML-based web applications - Experience with FTP - Experience with Linux - Experience with Apache - Experience with MYSQL - Experience with PHP - Ability to perform web design functions to create or update websites - Understanding of the principles of design and usability - Ability to determine appropriate architecture and technical solutions - Ability to engage in outside-the-box thinking - Ability to perform the full spectrum of web-related tasks - Experience with graphics creation and optimization - Experience with server-side programming - Experience with traffic generation and ongoing updates of existing websites - Support and development experience with MS Office 365 - Experience with MS SharePoint 2013 - Experience with SharePoint Designer - Experience with SharePoint InfoPath - Comfortable working with Windows operating systems - Comfortable working with UNIX operating systems - Ability to analyze, identify, design, and integrate unique solutions - Ability to perform scripting and support and automate network processes - Ability to develop and maintain intranet websites - Ability to fulfill new web development directives Required Skills: Web development, PHP, MYSQL Important Skills: Adobe Dreamweaver, JavaScript, CSS, HTML Nice-to-Have Skills: Adobe Flash, Adobe Illustrator, Linux, Apache, XML, FTP, Cold Fusion, Paint Pro Shop, SharePoint, Windows, UNIX
