Technology Platform Engineer Location: Bengaluru Project Role : Technology Platform Engineer Project Role Description : Creates production and non-production cloud environments using the proper software tools such as a platform for a project or product. Deploys the automation pipeline and automates environment creation and configuration. Must have skills : Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management Good to have skills : NA Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: We are looking for an experienced Oracle Utilities WACS/FFS Tester with strong expertise in functional and integration testing for Oracle Utilities applications. The candidate should have hands-on experience in testing Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service (WACS), Field Service Solutions (FFS/OFS), and related integrations with CC&B/CCS systems. The role involves SIT, UAT, regression, API, and end-to-end testing across utility business processes including work management, field activities, asset management, scheduling, and customer service operations. Roles & Responsibilities: Prepare test strategy, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for Oracle Utilities WACS/FFS implementations. Execute SIT, UAT, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities. Validate business processes related to: Work Management , Asset Management , Field Service Operations, Scheduling & Dispatch, Service Orders and Field Activities Perform integration testing between WACS, FFS/OFS, CC&B/CCS, and external systems. Validate REST/SOAP APIs, batch jobs, interfaces, and outbound/inbound integrations. Coordinate defect management activities using Jira/ALM and track defects through closure. Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and business stakeholders for issue resolution. Prepare test execution reports, defect reports, and daily status updates. Support production validation and post go-live testing activities. Participate in requirement analysis and provide testing estimates. Professional & Technical Skills: Strong experience in Oracle Utilities WACS and FFS/OFS testing. Good understanding of Oracle Utilities CC&B/CCS functionalities. Experience in functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing. Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman/SoapUI. Knowledge of SQL queries and backend validation. Experience with Jira, HP ALM, or similar defect management tools. Strong understanding of utility business processes. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Experience in automation testing using Selenium or other tools. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology. Exposure to cloud-based Oracle Utilities implementations. Experience in performance and batch testing. Experience with Oracle Utilities CCS, CC&B, WACS, and OFS implementations. Additional Information: 4+ Years in Oracle Utilities with experience in Oracle Utilities WACS/FFS Tester. This position is based at our Bangalore office.
