Quality Engineer Location: Bengaluru Project Role : Quality Engineer Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process. Must have skills : Micro Focus LoadRunner Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with diverse teams to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the software delivery process. You engage in planning activities that span multiple disciplines and integrate various ecosystem components to ensure seamless application lifecycle management. Your role includes executing continuous testing practices focused on security, application programming interfaces, and regression, while also developing and maintaining automation strategies and scripts. You actively participate in reviewing code, tracking issues, and providing detailed feedback to foster ongoing improvements in testing methodologies and overall product quality. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing strategies with project goals and timelines. - Assist in the development and maintenance of test environments and data configurations to support automated testing. - Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on testing best practices. - Continuously monitor testing processes and suggest enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Micro Focus LoadRunner. - Experience in designing and executing performance and load testing scenarios using Micro Focus LoadRunner. - Strong understanding of continuous testing methodologies including security, API, and regression testing. - Ability to create and maintain automation scripts and develop automation strategies to support testing efforts. - Familiarity with defect tracking and reporting tools to monitor and communicate issues effectively. - Knowledge of environment and data configuration to facilitate smooth testing operations.
