Cloud Team Intern

Summary: Acadia Insurance, a Berkley Company, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic college Intern to join their Cloud Team. This internship provides hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and tools, supporting the team in delivering reliable, scalable, and secure cloud solutions. Responsibilities: - Assist in monitoring cloud environments to ensure system performance, availability, and security - Support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cloud-based applications and services - Help automate routine tasks using scripts and cloud-native tools - Participate in troubleshooting and resolving basic cloud and infrastructure issues - Document processes, workflows, and technical procedures - Collaborate with team members on ongoing projects and initiatives - Support cost optimization and resource management efforts Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud - Familiarity with operating systems such as Linux or Windows - Basic knowledge of networking concepts and IT infrastructure - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Good communication and teamwork abilities Preferred Qualifications: - Exposure to scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell) - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git - Understanding of DevOps concepts and tools (CI/CD, containers, etc.) - Interest in cloud security and automation Required Skills: Cloud platforms, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Operating systems, Linux, Windows, Networking concepts, IT infrastructure, Scripting languages, Python, Bash, PowerShell, Version control, Git, DevOps concepts, CI/CD, Containers, Cloud security, Automation
