Newly Barred Associate Attorney, Workers' Compensation (Remote - California)

Summary: Abramson Labor Group is a leading employment and workers' compensation law firm dedicated to advocating for employees' rights. They are seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney to manage a docket of cases and provide legal support while working collaboratively within a team. Responsibilities: - Managing a docket of cases to resolution - Preparing client for deposition - Attending depositions - Invoicing Depositions - Responding to client inquiries that require attorney negations and moving matters towards resolution - Responsive to incoming emails and phone calls - Providing direction and guidance to non-attorneys as needed - Bringing positivity to the workplace and leading non-attorneys by example - Participation in team events during work and after work hours - Providing feedback to management to ensure ALG performs the best it can for our clients Required Qualifications: - California State Barred - Reside in the state of California - Comfortable with fast-paced work environments - Excellent writing and verbal communication skills - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Candidates must be in good standing with the California State Bar Preferred Qualifications: - Doctors' deposition experience Required Skills: California State Bar membership, Workers' Compensation law, Deposition preparation, Deposition attendance Benefits: Medical, dental and vision insurance coverage, Flexible time off plans including Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid holidays
